Prolink Hurricane 8600 is a full rate controllerless-based ADSL Modem. It uses Alcatel solution that fully complies to T1.413, G.lite and G.DMT ADSL standard. It supports Full-Rate ADSL transmission at up to 8Mbps downstream and up to 832 Kbps upstream.

Provides two RJ-11 connectors, one is for connection to the telephone line and another is for connection to the telephone.
Supports DSL downstream data rates up to 8 Mbps (125 times faster than standard 56K modems)
Supports DSL upstream data rates up to 832 Kbps
